Executive Assistant to the President

Sarah brings a diverse marketing background from the non-profit and healthcare industries over the last 13 years ranging from graphic design and production to traffic and brand management. Through a unique combination of strategic organization and creativity, she is able to balance day-to-day tasks while visualizing ideas that become reality. Working with The John Maxwell Company aligns Sarah’s personality and her desire to enhance value in others with an organization that has impacted millions of lives.

In May 2011, Sarah sensed God’s calling to work for The John Maxwell Company after hearing John Maxwell speak about positive thinking at 12Stone Church. In March 2012, Sarah accepted the position of Marketing Project Manager and Executive Assistant to David Hoyt, and quickly learned the value of servant leadership that provided great insight into her career path. With a full heart to serve the leadership team at The John Maxwell Company, Sarah happily accepted the role of David’s full-time Executive Assistant in October 2013. In this role, Sarah lives out her calling to serve David and his family well, in addition to all facets of the organization.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications from Shippensburg University in Pa., and a Graphic Design certification from the Delaware College of Art and Design. She and her husband Bill reside in Atlanta with their sons Liam, Brendan, and Keegan, and German Shepherd Leben. When Sarah is away from work, her priority is being the best wife and mom that God has called her to be, serving as social director for her family, interior decorating, event planning, practicing yoga, reading, listening to Christian music, organizing dinner with friends, and maximizing each day to its full potential.
