“The thankful receiver bears a plentiful harvest.” ~William Blake

Here in the United States, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. For most of us, that means time with family, great food, and a chance to reflect on what we’re thankful for from the past year. When I look back on this year, I can’t help but be thankful for some amazing blessings. Among them…

Getting to spend time with my 93-year-old dad and his wife, Betty.

A healthy family and wonderful grandchildren.

My team, who make me better than I am.

The best year that my companies have ever had.

You. I’m so grateful for your support, your focus on personal growth, and your willingness to journey with me in creating lives of impact and significance.

Over the past few months, we’ve examined all that we’re doing to support you in your personal growth, and one thing we’ve decided to do is narrow our focus so we can serve you more effectively.

So starting December 1st, instead of three posts per week from The John Maxwell Company, you’ll receive only one post per week: a personal post from me. It will be on what I’m learning, where I’m growing, and what I believe will benefit you in your growth. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and my heart more directly with you now and into 2015.

Whether you’re in the United States or not, I hope you will take the time this week to think of what you’re thankful for, and express that gratitude to the people you love.

Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
